Visio import#

Import an existing Visio topology and the platform reconstructs it as live canvas nodes, mapping recognized shapes to catalog devices. Elements that cannot be confidently mapped arrive as generic nodes, explicitly flagged — the import validation report lists exactly which shapes were genericized and why, so you can re-role them by hand.
Why
Every brownfield engagement starts with someone's old Visio. Importing it — even imperfectly — beats redrawing from scratch, and honest flagging of unmapped shapes means you know precisely where the drawing still needs human eyes.
Configuration import#
Existing device configurations can be ingested to seed the template library and device baselines — parsed fields (management plane, VLANs) become structured defaults rather than opaque text.

Deleting a project removes it from your profile and dashboards immediately — no ghost entries.
