Vendor template library and reference designs.

Where to find itTemplates (top nav)→Config templates→— or —→Device→Template tab
The template library stores your organization's golden configurations, keyed by vendor + model + role(a role-specific template overrides a generic one for the same model). Sample files are named by device model so the right baseline is obvious. Bind a template on a device's Template tab and its parsed values become the device's defaults.
Reference designs#
The public template gallery includes multi-vendor datacenter reference designs — Cisco, Arista, and Aruba spine-leaf fabrics with OSPF/BGP/VXLAN, plus Arista Layer-2 DCI patterns — as ready-to-open topologies. Use them as starting points: open, rename, and adapt.
Why
Starting from a validated reference design skips a class of greenfield mistakes (wrong fabric addressing plan, missing peer-links, undersized uplinks) and gives juniors a known-good shape to study against the vendor's own design guides.
