Bind an organization config template(from the template library, keyed by vendor + model + role) as the device's baseline. Parsed template values — management fields, VLANs — surface as placeholder defaults in the other tabs: blank fields use the template value, anything you type overrides it. Precedence for a blank field is template → site → project defaults.
Why
Templates encode your golden config once per platform. Binding instead of copy-pasting means a template fix propagates to every design that uses it, and diffs stay reviewable.
